Very well said. That’s incredible that you didn’t walk away. So many people do, it seems. My sister was estranged from my family for over 20 years. She harbored so much resentment toward my mother during that time, but they have since reconciled because my sister forgave my mother for any perceived wrongdoing, and now, the relationship she has with my family couldn’t be any better. I’ve never seen my mother and sister so happy together. Forgiveness is a powerful thing.
