TikTok Lives, Mimicking People, Tone Loc, & Math Problems
Or Tweets, lets be honest
I’d like to give a special “thanks a real bunch” to Adam and Eve for eating the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, resulting in the fall of man.
TikTok Lives are interesting. The other week, I was in the TikTok Live of a young woman, an insurance agent, who was at her job at the office. That’s right, she was doing a TikTok Live at work.
There was a lot of just watching her type on the keyboard as the chat became flooded with the most random questions directed at her.
She’d answer a few in a whisper, then go back to typing.
At one point, three bros were fighting in the chat. One guy told the other guy to knock it off with the creepy questions. Then another guy jumped in and both guys piled on the guy trying to play moderator.
Meanwhile, Carly kept typing away at her keyboard, at one point saying, “I don’t know what ya’ll are doing in the chat, but I’m just gonna ignore it, pretend it’s not happening.”
I have this natural, unconscious thing where I mimic people’s behavior as I’m talking to them.
