This was great. You nailed it. I couldn’t agree more. I lived in Germany for a few years and while it was a fulfilling time for me, I often craved living back in America where all the excitement was. I told my wife that European life is easier, not more convenient, but easier than American life, and for exactly the reasons you describe.
