Some important messages in here. Well done. There is this young woman on Twitter with a severe chronic illness who is quite popular for her negative posts. I feel for her because she is suffering so greatly, but she’s doing herself more harm than good. She often says she will never accept her illness, that the bare minimum she will accept is her old life and fitness routine back. I want to tell her she’s torturing herself with that attitude. But of course, it’s none of my business. Many have already told her this anyway. Life is tough. We have to do our best to accept reality and find ways to transcend the suffering.
