Some German virologist recently proclaimed that the pandemic is now an endemic. I have told two German friends in Germany that the pandemic is not over, and yet, they insist it’s an endemic now. It’s unfortunate that, currently, it seems to be a matter of perspective or opinion as to whether the pandemic is actually over.
