So happy for you and that meditation became the solution. I was always a future-oriented person but have had to, out of necessity, stay present a lot of the time. Our brains are so powerful. It’s amazing how we can train the mind, so to speak, for better wellness.
Interesting also that research shows depression is linked to brain inflammation in some. The benefits one achieves from meditation, however, if it is to work for that particular person, are like a drug that naturally promotes healing and the reduction of inflammation.
