Oy vey, I wonder if I should tell this on here. It’s OK, the odds of him reading this are slim.

So I got my writing feelings hurt in 2014 when an acquaintance, now-friend got inspired by a reasonably popular blog of mine at the time when I lived in Europe and didn’t acknowledge me. He went on to write a TV sitcom based on his own similar experiences of living as an expat and it got picked up by NBC for two seasons.

Why couldn’t he have hired me as a writer?! Why! I never said anything, of course, and we became more friendly as the years went on.
