It's certainly interesting, isn't it? I just finished reading a book called "When Bad Things Happen to Good People." It came up as an ad on Facebook, so I looked into it further and decided to get it on Kindle. The late author, a rabbi in a town not far from where I live in Massachusetts, had a son with a rare congenital condition who died at the age of 14. The author's perspective on the role of God and the laws of nature is quite interesting and resonated with me. Certainly an unfair world, but we (meaning good people) do our best to shine our light on others.
