I’m in such awe of people’s talent here on Medium even. I think it’s normal to be a bit envious. We appreciate the art of writing. I think of when I was a kid playing sports and being envious of certain teammates and their abilities, even though I was already very good myself. Ultimately, it comes down to focusing on trying to achieve your own version of “near-perfect” writing. Someone will always be better and you’ll be in awe, but I think that’s a good thing because it can inspire you to want to be better yourself, if received the right way.
