I parent very differently from my parents, which is to say I parent in a healthy way, as I was raised in a very dysfunctional household. No question it can be broken. Especially today with all the resources and tools at our disposal about what healthy families are supposed to look like. Of course, no family is perfect and we all have our flaws.
