First off, RC, I'm highly impressed that you only picked up creative writing in recent years, as you would never know it based on your level of writing skill. Hats off to you there. I was writing off and on as a young man, definitely not consistently, but I was writing creatively.

To write how you speak is very relatable and a very effective way to write.
