An "Ungodly Soul Tie" seems like an interesting concept, but I don't know if I'd ever suscribe to it myself. My sister was estranged from my family for 20 years, which stemmed from an issue with my mother. One could say she had an ungodly soul tie with my mother. And yet, she has reconnected with all of us and has reintegrated into the family quite well. She and my mother aren't super close, but they get along and are respectful of each other.
